He transitioned to EdTech after a decade as a research astrophysicist, bringing a deep background in high-performance computing and data to his work building responsible AI for the classroom.

Barbara Kenny is a former educator of more than ten years who now serves as Senior Product Manager at Packback, where she designs student-centered, pedagogy-first learning experiences that use AI to enhance, rather than replace, student agency, curiosity, and critical thinking. She holds a Master’s in Education and certifications in Full-Stack Web Development and AI Product Design.

Cynthia Wilson, Ed.D., is Vice President for Learning and Chief Impact Officer at the League for Innovation in the Community College. She leads the League’s Learning Initiative and has directed major projects focused on a variety of issues related to teaching, learning, and student success. She has authored or co-authored numerous publications and serves on the editorial boards for Community College Journal of Research & Practice, Change, and New Directions for Community Colleges.
